My name is Vassilis Spiliotopoulos, and through writing I seek to understand, to remember, and above all to give voice to all that has been hidden or silenced — in History and in the human soul. 
Here, you will find my works, my thoughts on writing, history, and existence, as well as updates on upcoming publications, presentations, and translations. 

My first novel, Stowaway of a Lifetime, is a journey from Tsarist Russia to the trenches of the First World War and the Revolution — guided by human contradictions, betrayals, the narcissism of power, but also the pursuit of justice, peace, and ultimately the need for inner redemption. 
My second book, currently in progress, continues the thread into the turbulent path of interwar Europe, shedding light on events and stories largely unknown to the wider public. 

I write for those who refuse to accept the obvious, for those “stowaways” who defy the automated rails of life and choose instead to listen to its deeper rhythms — beyond boundaries.
